Temple Square Gardens - Things to do in Salt Lake City

Walk just east of the Salt Lake Temple and you'll find one of the top things to do in Salt Lake City for visitors: a stroll through the famous Temple Square gardens. Though gardens are found everywhere on the 35 acres of property that the LDS Church maintains, known as Temple Square, you'll find the most stunning garden experience just east of the Salt Lake Temple. There are over 250 flower beds on Temple Square, 165,000 bedding plants, and 700 varieties of plants from around the world. Hundreds of volunteers assist in redesigning the gardens every 6 months.
