BEST SALT LAKE RESTAURANTS
WHERE TO EAT: RESTAURANTS
Market Street Grill, Downtown (www.marketstreetgrill.com): Utah's best seafood restaurant. Very popular with locals and visitors, alike. Fresh fish is flown in daily from around the world. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Early bird special from 5-7pm, prime rib or Atlantic salmon. Excellent clam chowder. Wonderful breakfast entrees.
Crown Burger (www.crown-burgers.com) Utah's most popular hamburger. Featured on the Travel Channel's popular show, Man v. Food, this restaurant was started by a Greek family and also serves one of Utah's best gyros. The signature item is the Crown Burger, a quarter pound cheeseburger piled high with outstanding pastrami. You've never had a hamburger like this one. It's a local favorite and was featured in the New York Times in 2009. The downtown location is two blocks from Temple Square.
Red Iguana (www.rediguana.com) Voted Utah's best Mexican food, year after year. Featured on the Food Network's popular show, Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. To say this is a local favorite is an understatement. This is a wildly popular restaurant located one mile west of Temple Square, but directly along the light rail train route (outside the Free Fare Zone). Just check the online reviews and you'll find it is one of the most-reviewed and highest-rated restaurants in Utah. Red Iguana 2 is the name of a second location built a couple of blocks away from the original in order to satisfy the very high demand.
