Cathedral of the Madeleine – Things to do in Salt Lake City

One of the oldest non-Mormon churches in Utah, the Cathedral of the Madeleine deserves a place on your list of fun things to do in Salt Lake City. The Romanesque exterior is composed of Utah sandstone. Built in 1909, this Catholic cathedral remains largely the same building today as it was 105 years ago. Exceptions include a new copper roof and new gargoyles, replaced in the 1980. To see more, join us on the Salt Lake City Tour or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Tour.
