Old City Hall on Salt Lake City Tours

Old Salt Lake City Hall was built in the 1860s out of red sandstone from nearby Red Butte Canyon. Used for city government officials and also the Utah Territorial legislature, it is now an office of tourism. Relocated from downtown to Capitol Hill in the 1960s to make way for a federal office building, it now offers photographers the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background. See this beautiful building on a Salt Lake City sightseeing tour, featured on the new Trolley Tour of Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake City Deluxe Tour, or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir & Deluxe City Tour. Reserve your seats on the sightseeing bus or trolley by visiting www.SaltLakeCityTours.org or call (801) 531-1001. Seating is limited and advanced reservations are required.
